A new phase of the Bruce Highway Upgrade is set to begin at Murrumba Downs next week.
Following demolition of part of a noise barrier, piling work will start on foundations for a retaining wall near Goodridge Rd West.
Transport and Main Roads (TMR) says the work will be done Monday to Friday 6am-6pm and 7am-1pm on Saturdays for about nine weeks.
A piling rig will be brought onto the site and TMR says there will be traffic control for local vehicles entering Goodridge Rd West.
Night works are currently underway on the stage one of the Dohles Rocks Rd to Anzac Ave upgrade for lighting and telecommunication.
Partial lane closures will continue on the Bruce Highway from 7pm to 5am, Sunday to Thursday until late September 2025.
Other night works include drilling under the highway to install conduits and drainage maintenance inspections.
Work is also starting this month on Dohles Rocks Rd, between Castle Hill Dr and Wagner Rd Griffin to prepare for the new highway on and off ramps.
Most work will be done at night, with partial lane closures on Dohles Rocks Rd for about four weeks for drain inspections, potholing and building a temporary footpath.
The overall $2 billion highway upgrade, from Bracken Ridge to Anzac Ave at North Lakes, is to cater for traffic growth of more than 50 per cent in the next 20 years.
