Who’s Who in 22: Sport, part one
Words by Moreton Daily

Today we kick off our Who’s Who in 22 series by listing sporting stars, with ties to the Moreton Bay Region, who have achieved great things in 2022.

There’s Little swimmers, boxers, runners, a well-known golfer and a Dolphin or two.

It comes in a year during which we had athletes compete in the World Swimming Championships and Commonwealth Games, golfer Cameron Smith cemented his place on the world stage, boxer Liam Wilson inched closer to a world title shot, the Warriors called the region home and the Dolphins prepared for their NRL debut.

It’s been a big year!
