Winter warmers tempt the tastebuds
Norths Leagues and Services Club is helping patrons stave off the chilly weather with a new winter menu.
Marketing co-ordinator James Bennett says executive chef Hossein Moshtaghi has created a Club Classics menu designed to tempt the tastebuds and please the wallet.
“Our new executive chef has completely revamped the menu,” James explains.
“He wanted to bring in classic dishes that are of a really high standard and affordable.”
Tasty prices
Featuring favourites such as chicken schnitzel, traditional spaghetti bolognese and grilled thick beef sausage with mashed potatoes, green peas, beer-battered onion rings and gravy, the menu also includes a 200g beef rump with chips and salad and a grilled pork sirloin steak with a garlic cream sauce.
James says all the offerings on the Club Classics menu are priced to entice, with dishes at $10.90 for members at lunchtime and $19.90 for non-members.

“I think at the moment with the cost of living it’s really important to be able to provide something to the community and our members so they can have a bit of a treat that’s not going to break the budget,” he says.
“We’ve listened to a lot of what our patrons have had to say and tried to incorporate that into the new menu – it’s something we’re very passionate about.”
James says becoming a member at Norths Leagues and Services Club gives patrons much more than access to cheaper meals.
People can join for $3 to receive 10 percent off meals and drinks, with membership valid until 2025.
Members also gain access to cheaper petrol at Freedom Fuels, cheaper meat at Narangba Select Meats and no joining fee at Jetts Kallangur.
