Arana Hills
About Arana Hills
Bordered by the Kedron Brook and Bunyaville Forest, Arana Hills is almost entirely a residential suburb, with 20% of its area dedicated to parklands. Informally known as the Hills District, Arana Hills is a suburb within the Moreton Bay Region.
Arana Hills includes a number of child care facilities, one independent primary school, as well as other primary schools and high schools in neighbouring suburbs.

History
Until the 1950’s the Hills District, including Arana Hills, was primarily forest and small farms along Cabbage Tree Creek. In the 1956, the first residential estate was constructed by Willmore and Randell, known then as Camden Park. The suburb was renamed in 1962 to Arana Hills
