An industrial suburb located south of Strathpine.

Brendale is home to the South Pine Sports Complex, 14 sporting clubs and one commercial beach volleyball centre are located at the centre.

History of Brendale

In 1870 Thomas and Samuel Coe settled on South Pine Flats, now known as Brendale. The flats were good diary country. During the war the open farm country was used as an airstrip.

Brendale was named in 1980 after a horse stud owned by a land developer.
