Located in the northern reaches of Deception Bay and only a short five minutes from Bribie Island, Godwin Beach is a small coastal suburb where locals revel in their laidback seaside lifestyle.

Godwin Beach was named after Charles Godwin who owned a fish cannery by the beach from 1897 to 1907.
