For the next 10 years, a North Lakes player will get an extra $1000 in their bank account every week after scoring a top prize on their Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
The top prize winning $10 Live the Life ticket was bought at Paperboxx North Lakes, Shop 1173-1174 Westfield Northlakes.
How the winner plans to enjoy their instant windfall will be a mystery as they have chosen to remain anonymous and celebrate in private.
Over the moon
However, Paperboxx North Lakes owner Mung Lam said the team was over the moon for their instant winner.
“Oh wow! How cool is that?” Mung said. “We’ll definitely be celebrating this win in our store this week. We hope this is the beginning of many more!
“We’re so ecstatic for our winner. It’s such a fantastic prize, especially because it’s paid over 10 years.
“Congratulations to our winner. We hope they enjoy their prize for years to come.”
Surprise
The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said: “What an excellent surprise for the winner!
“While we don’t know how our winner will enjoy their prize, we have no doubt they will be smiling from ear to ear knowing their bank balance will receive a one thousand dollar payday every week for the next decade.
“No matter how they enjoy their prize, we are sure it is a wonderful boost to their day, week, month and year!”
In 2021, there were 157 Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners across The Lott’s jurisdictions who collectively took home more than $10 million in top prizes.
Winners
During this same time, Instant Scratch-Its players enjoyed more than 29.1 million wins across all prize tiers worth more than $256.26 million. This equates to almost three-quarters of a million dollars won on Instant Scratch-Its every day.
Every month, Instant Scratch-Its’ 2nd Chance Draw gives you another chance to turn your eligible non-winning Instant Scratch-Its into a winner. Visit thelott.com to enter this month’s 2nd Chance Draw.
