Operation Streetsweeper has led to 14 arrests on 19 warrants resulting in 17 fresh charges in the Moreton police district.
The operation saw police increase officers in the Petrie area on October 15 area as part of ongoing investigations into criminal matters.
A 51-year-old Strathpine woman was arrested, after reports she allegedly stole money from a business she worked at between 2022 and 2023.
It is alleged the woman transferred $23,056.50 into her personal bank account between September 2022 and February 2023.
She has been charged with 23 counts of fraud and is due to appear in Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on November 18.
A 33-year-old Kallangur man, who police had been trying to find since April, was arrested in Kallangur on October 15.
The man was charged with new offences including one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, possess utensils or pipes etc for use, dangerous operation of a vehicle and evasion.
He is due to appear in Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on October 29.
Police arrested a 29-year-old Caboolture woman in Kallangur on October 15 after investigations into personal property allegedly stolen from a car parked at a Rothwell address on August 27.
The woman has been charged with four counts of fraud and one count each of enter premises and commit indictable offence and receiving tainted property.
She is due to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on November 5.
Petrie Police Station Officer in Charge Senior Sergeant Dale Morrow said this operation is focused on holding people to account.
“This is a clear demonstration of our commitment to bring those to justice who commit crimes and cause harm to our community no matter how long time has passed,” Senior Sergeant Morrow said.
“We will use a range of investigative strategies and fully investigate all offences until we can arrest, charge and put those responsible before the courts.”
