Hundreds turned out before dawn at Bribie Island yesterday to pay their respects to the ANZACs, with the service starting at 4.28am - the time the first soldiers went ashore at Gallipoli in 1915.

The rain did nothing to dampen ANZAC Day in Caboolture which saw the return of the morning parade before the Main Service. Thousands lined the streets, marched and took part in the service.
