Basketball action coming to Redcliffe

Two global basketball sensations will be in action at Redcliffe’s Settlement Cove Park when PLAYGRND Showdown FIBA 3x3 Quest & Streetball Final comes to town this week.
It is the qualifier for the World Tour in Macau.
‘The Hezi God’ and The Real Frequent Flyer (Guy Dupuy) are expected to draw a crown when they drop in for the event which will be held from September 19-21 (10am-8pm each day).
It will be a chance to see basketball action across men’s, women’s, junior’s and wheelchair team categories.
There will also be DJs and artists, e-games, dunking shows, and shooting competitions where you can test your skills and compete for prizes.
The three-day event will also include Special Olympics Come and Try and FIBA 3x3 games, as well as a Community Skills Camp (ages 8-18 years).
