A Burpengary duo brought home a major lottery prize after their long-running private syndicate won $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The Moreton Bay region friends won the guaranteed first prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10785.

“Oh my god! Are you telling me we’ve won $100,000?” one of the winning women said when lottery officials called to break the news.

“This is just so unbelievable! I have purchased tickets with my closest friend for years and years.

“Half of this is going to her. We purchase tickets together every week as a little treat. We need to celebrate! We might even go to dinner!

“I’ll be calling my best friend immediately after this call to let her know! I can’t wait to tell her.
