CSC Group (Caboolture Sports Club) is working closely with Moreton Bay Regional Industry & Tourism and the Food & Agribusiness Network, to host three Tastes of Moreton Bay events this weekend.

All three will be a showcase for what our growers, farmers, and producers are championing in this region.

With the recent COVID-19 lockdown having a devastating impact on Tastes of Moreton Bay and Caboolture Festival, notably the Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival, this is a chance to rally behind Moreton Bay’s producers.

Meet at the Market

It starts tomorrow with an invitation-only breakfast bringing together those connected to Moreton Bay agribusiness, including producers, industry representatives, all levels of government, CSC Group members and senior management.

The menu will feature produce grown in Moreton Bay, served while hearing from keynote speakers including Kelvin Patch, CEO CSC Group and Chair Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay; Tony Clarke, CSC Sports & Community Manager; Emma Greenhatch, CEO Food & Agribusiness Network and Nick Steiner, CEO The Mini Farm Project.

On Saturday at 10am Caboolture Sports Club, in Station Rd, Morayfield, will open its doors to farmers and producers in Moreton Bay, enabling them to hold a stall, free of charge, at the Meet me at the Bay Markets.

Spirit of region

“We are so pleased to be able to offer these events for the Moreton Bay community and support the Tastes of Moreton Bay Festival and efforts of Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism,” James Goodrich, CSC Group Loyalty Manager, said.

“During the pandemic and beyond people really heroed local. Events like these where we can celebrate our region are fantastic. We look forward to seeing the community support these local producers.”

Following the market, Copper & Cane and Caboolture Sports Club are hosting Brushes, Barrels, & Bites - a unique take on a Paint & Sip event, showcasing spirits inspired by the botanicals of Moreton Bay.
