It could be a week full of celebrations for a Kippa-Ring player who scored more than $1 million in Saturday’s Gold Lotto draw - but first, they need to check their ticket and discover they’ve won!

The mystery player held one of the three division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4229 on January 29, 2022 and took home $1,937,209.61.

As the winning entry was not registered, the identity of the ticketholder remains a mystery and they may have yet to discover they’re now more than $1 million richer.

The life-changing entry was purchased at Redcliffe Dolphins Discount Drug Store, Shop 5, 110 Ashmole Road, Kippa-Ring.

Thrilled at win

Redcliffe Dolphins Discount Drug Store manager Alycia Whalley said the entire team was thrilled about the massive milestone.

“We were super excited by the win. It’s a life-changing prize,” she said. “This is the first division one winning ticket we’ve sold, so it’s a big moment for us.

“We will be celebrating this win for the rest of the year. Hopefully, we’ll have more major wins this year.

“Our local community is amazing, and they’ve always supported us, and so we couldn’t be happier to have helped deliver a win to one of them.

“Hopefully, the winner discovers this incredible news soon. Our entire team is so excited by the win and would love to send their well wishes to the winner.”

Life changing

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said one Queenslander was only a life-changing phone call away from ending the month as a millionaire.

“It’s highly likely this winner has been going about their day as normal, with no idea they’ve just won more than $1.9 million!” she said.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a Gold Lotto ticket from Redcliffe Dolphins Discount Drug Store to check their tickets today.

“Imagine how exciting it would be to realise you’ve just won $1.9 million! Your plans for the rest of the week, month and even year would certainly change with an extra million dollars in hand!

“Make sure to check your ticket, which could be hiding anywhere in your wallet, handbag, fridge door, bedside table or car glovebox. The winner could be you, and you could be planning what to do with your prize right this moment.

“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
