For coffee lovers, going an entire day without a large latte or an extra hot cappuccino can be hard. But trying to decide where to go each day to order your coffee? That’s even harder. With so many great coffee locations in Moreton Bay Region, we thought we would help you find the most brew-tiful coffee by creating a coffee crawl guide just for you!
#1. Mt Mee - Pitstop Cafe on Mt Mee
For spectacular scenery with your liquid elixir, have a rest and re-energise at the Pitstop Café on Mt Mee. Located along the Mt Mee tourist drive and open Wednesday - Sunday, this location is a wonderful spot to enjoy freshly-made coffee. With traffic lights on the side of the café, car and motorcycle memorabilia covering the interior walls, and amazing views of Dayboro and other areas of the Moreton Bay Region, this quirky café is definitely worth visiting on your coffee crawl! You can also enjoy lunch at one of the outdoor tables whilst you drink your coffee and admire the view.
#2. Lawnton - Wheelhouse Coffee
Wheelhouse Coffee in Lawnton is a rustically decorated café which uses beans from Wolff Coffee Roasters. Come past for a cuppa exuding honey undertones from 6:30am 5 days a week (Saturday from 7:30am, Sunday from 8am). If you’re after more than just a fresh roast, take a seat inside at one of the wooden tables to dig into delicious home-style fare, or grab a treat to go instead.
#3. Redcliffe - Neli Coffee Pty Ltd
End your coffee crawl by heading to Neli Coffee Pty Ltd, a specialty coffee Brisbane north roastery at Clontarf that is family owned and operated. Here you can spend the afternoon drinking specialty coffee, go shopping for a new coffee machine and purchase some roasted beans. Open Tuesday – Friday from 8AM – 4PM and from 8AM – 2PM on Saturdays, Neli Coffee Pty Ltd is the perfect place for you to come and drink coffee, learn the art of coffee-making, and unwind after a busy day.
The Barista Workshops range from 2 – 5 hours in duration and prices vary. Bookings can be made on the Neli Coffee Pty Ltd website and you will also receive a Neli Coffee certificate upon completion of the course. So, come along and learn everything you need to know about making that perfect cup of coffee!
