COVID-19 Testing station reopens at sports centre
Words by Nick Crockford

A drive-through COVID-19 Testing Station has reopened at South Pine Sports Centre in Brendale.

The centre is by the former ALF clubhouse, between the AFL and cricket pitches, and will open Monday-Friday from 8am-noon.

Access for traffic is from the South Pine Road main entrance, at the intersection with Eatons Crossing Road.

Those using the sports centre for other activities, during the testing centre opening times, should use the entrance via Leitchs Rd.

The testing station is being run by QML Pathology and will operate until further notice, taking some pressure of testing centres towards Brisbane.

However, the South Pine Sports Complex Testing Station will be closed on Australia Day (January 26).
