Discover ancient art at Redcliffe workshop

A weekend workshop in Redcliffe will introduce participants to the ancient art of Mandala.

Students will learn how to develop their creative ability and Mandala, the ancient, beautiful and once forbidden solution to long and happy lives.

The workshop is on Saturday, from 10am to 1pm at the Art So Lively Art Academy, in Comino’s Arcade on Redcliffe Parade.

Most newcomers think they have little or no art creative ability and accordingly tend to shy away from the opportunity to learn how to become truly creative.

But, two award-winning visual artists with art teaching experience who believe they have found a unique and easy way to overcome this dilemma.

In February, Gabrielle Turnbull and Maddy Bull conducted their first ‘new style’ three-hour portrait painting art workshop.

Buoyed by the results and encouraged by students’ enthusiasm, they now plan to conduct similar workshops, but all with different themes, throughout this year.

The March workshop brings with it a heightened state of mystery and beauty.

Fees are $90 per student and includes the cost of all materials, apron, morning tea and coffee.
