Don’t miss 2021 Moreton Business and Jobs Expo

The fourth Moreton Business and Jobs Expo is on at Brendale on September 29, bringing businesses, job seekers and industry together. There will be about 1500 jobs up for grabs and the chance to secure new customers.

The event is on from 10am-4pm at South Pine Indoor Sports Complex and will include business workshops, jobs workshops, more than 200 expo stands, food trucks and entertainment.

Organiser Paula Brand says more than 800 people are expected to be involved.

“This is our fourth expo in this region and it is the biggest we have held,” Paula says.

“There are 10 jobs agencies, with an average of 150 jobs available each, so about 1500 jobs on offer.”

Entry is a gold coin donation but participants must register to attend.

The event is billed as a one-stop-shop for sales-focused business networking, selling, buying products and services, and business workshops.

“Because this is such a lean economic year, businesses, all sizes, need more customers and not all of them can just pivot online. It is important that our businesses continue to connect face to face,” she says.

There will also be opportunities to learn with jobs, business and women in business workshops among those on offer.
