Evan Han puts on silver show

Evan Han, from PK Taekwondo at North Lakes, has struck silver at the Oceania Championships in New South Wales.

Han finished second, behind Brayden Zhu but ahead of third-placed Benjamin Banh and Roy Ahn, in the Cadet Male -41kg division.

A silver medal was reward for Han, who battled through five fights in one day at the trials to win bronze and a place at the Oceania titles.

While Han was in Liverpool, his PK Taekwondo club colleagues were in dominating form at the Australian Taekwondo Queensland State Open at Brendale.

PK Taekwondo swept the state titles winning the Overall Kyorugi (Sparring), Male Kyorugi (Sparring) and Female Kyorugi (Sparring) Club Championships.

In Sparring they also brought home 36 gold, nine silver and one bronze medal while in Poomsae (Form) PK Taekwondo collected five gold and two bronze medals.
