First look at club's $2.8 million upgrades

North Lakes Sports Club –  already named Queensland Club of the Year 2022 in the Grand Category - has just completed a huge refurbishment.

The Flinder’s Pde venue’s $2.8 million upgrades will be officially launched tomorrow (June 29) from 5.30pm with presentations and live entertainment.

They include a larger sports hub and sports bar and deck with a variety of individual screens and a stunning 12-metre changing screen wall.

There is also a new Atonik spirit bar, Nasi and Mie Modern Asian restaurant, boutique lounge bar and an ice cream station.

These add to the existing Banyan restaurant and deck, kids club, café and gaming room.

North Lakes Sports Club Marketing Manager Veronica Vivian said the diverse outlets are designed to appeal to a wide range of age groups.

“Our aim is to create a one stop night out, without having to travel into the city,” she said.

North Lakes Sports Club was the first licensed community club in the North Lakes area when its doors first opened at 36-42 Flinders Parade in April 2017.
