The Tastes of Moreton Bay Feastival (August 19-September 25) has a marvellous menu of attractions – especially those looking for Father’s Day gifts!

Sunday September 4 falls right in the middle of the biggest foodie celebration South-East Queensland has ever seen.

And with more than 40 special events, tours, events and masterclasses, Feastival tickets make a perfect present on Father’s Day.

Here are some Feastival flavours to tickle the taste buds:

It kicks off with the Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival (August 19-21) – a three-day extravaganza along the foreshore at Woody Point.

Buy a day or three-day pass and have access to six special areas.

In The Kitchen will be Australia’s favourite chefs, including Manu Fieldel (My Kitchen Rules), Miguel Maestre (The Living Room), Alastair McLeod (Festival Ambassador and Ready, Steady, Cook) and Georgie Barnes (MasterChef).

Quench your thirst at BrewFest where more than 20 local, independent, and popular brewers will pour our favourite beers and ciders.

Wine lovers can head to The Cellar Door. Check out Sweets n Treats from the state’s best dessert makers, the party vibes at Oasis By The Bay or local produce in The Market Place.

After the festival, fathers still weeks to eat, drink and enjoy themselves.

Or how about The Komo’s Flavour of the Bay (September 15) with the venue’s executive chef preparing delicious dishes to go with cocktails and live entertainment.

There’s Jazz by Candlelight (August 25) at the Basil and Vine, Burpengary with a live band and an Italian-styled menu.

And on Father’s Day itself, there’s a Strawberry Sesh (September 4) at Luvaberry in Wamuran, picking strawberries, enjoying live music and a beer from Bribie Island Brewing Company.
