Hostplus Cup finals: Dolphins to face Falcons

The Redcliffe Dolphins will face the Sunshine Coast Falcons at Sunshine Coast Stadium this weekend in round one of the Hostplus Cup finals.
The Queensland Rugby League has released the week one finals schedule for the Hostplus Cup and Hastings Deering Colts competitions.
The Bears, who were presented with the John McDonald minor premiership following the win, will play the fourth-placed Norths Devils this Sunday.
The Sunshine Coast Falcons wrapped up second spot after edging out the Redcliffe Dolphins 20-18 in a Sunday afternoon thriller at Sunshine Coast Stadium. The result sets up a fascinating re-match this weekend at the same venue this Saturday. The game will be broadcast on QPlus.tv
Week one elimination finals will see Tweed Seagulls (6) in action against the Brisbane Tigers (7), and the Central Queensland Capras (5) going head-to-head with the Northern Pride (8).
The Pride secured their spot in the play-offs with a strong win against the Ipswich Jets.
In the Hastings Deering Colts, defending premiers the Wynnum Manly Seagulls finished in top spot after a tight win over the Burleigh Bears.
The minor premiership-winning Seagulls will now turn their focus to this weekend’s clash against the fourth-placed Central Queensland Capras.
Townsville Blackhawks and the Redcliffe Dolphins meet in the 3 v 4 match, with both teams coming off impressive final round wins last Sunday.
Week one elimination finals will be contested by the Brisbane Tigers (5) and Tweed Seagulls (8), and the Sunshine Coast Falcons (6) and Mackay Cutters (7).
