Joel Dulhunty’s remarkable fundraising efforts – including Raise it for Redcliffe - have been recognised at the Queensland Gives Philanthropy Awards.
The Associate Professor, who has helped raise more than $1 million in four years for Redcliffe Hospital, has been named Emerging Philanthropist of the Year.
It recognises an innovative and inspiring philanthropist whose early achievements reflect generosity, creativity and impact.
Joel, Director of Research and Implementation at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and Redcliffe Hospital, exemplifies all that and more.

He has cycled 2600km from Cairns to Brisbane and completed a 500km challenge on a penny farthing to support Raise it for Redcliffe.
And this week he will saddle up again to ride from RBWH to Redcliffe Hospital on Giving Day - Wednesday, June 11.
Seven Sunrise TV cameras will be on hand as Joel is farewelled on this latest fundraising feat.

They include everything from modernising critical hospital units to creating research opportunities for frontline clinicians.
“Joel doesn’t just fundraise, he volunteers, advocates, educates and most importantly, inspires,” Simone Garske, RBWH Foundation CEI,
