Kallangur Scouts had the chance to show off their new home at Murrumba Downs to the wider community at a special open day.

Scouts Queensland Chief Commissioner Daryl Scott and Northern Moreton Bay Region Commissioner Tim Gibbings were among the VIPs to attend the opening.

The $772,000 digs on Ogg Rd were purpose built with Moreton Bay Regional Council and Federal Government funding.

Group leader Kerry “Kalori” Skillington says finding a permanent new home had been some years in the making.
