Eight Kallangur shoppers have each bagged a quarter of a million dollars after their Saturday Gold Lotto syndicate scored division one on the weekend.
The store syndicate held one of the 15 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4375. Each division one winning entry pocketed $2 million. |
In shock
Kallangur Fair News owner Rajinder Kaur said the Saturday Gold Lotto winning syndicate had been created especially for the weekend’s $30 Million Megadraw.
“I was in shock for five minutes when I initially found out, then that turned to happiness and excitement that we had sold another division one winning ticket,” he said.
“When I realised that it was a syndicate and would be able to share the joy and winnings with a group of loyal and hard-working members of the community, I was more overjoyed.
“The syndicate members will be very excited and I had a couple of the winning syndicate members dancing in the shop Sunday morning.
“It is a fantastic feeling that we were able to sell them a winning ticket and hope to sell more in the future.”
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart urged anyone who purchased a syndicate share from Kallangur Fair News to check their entry.
“While some of the winning Kallangur syndicate members registered entries to a player card or online account, others may have yet to discover they’re part of this winning group,” he said.
Winning numbers
“We can’t wait to unite all the syndicate members with their prize, so today’s the day to check those tickets lying around the home, car and anywhere else.
“If you think you’re part of this winning group, contact us immediately on 131 868 to start the prize claim process.”
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4375 on 24 June 2023 were 4, 30, 21, 37, 29 and 8, while the supplementary numbers were 45 and 38.
Across Australia, there were 15 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4375 – six each from Queensland and New South Wales, two from Victoria and one from Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally is now 207 so far in 2023, including 56 won by Golden Casket customers. In 2022, Saturday Gold Lotto created 171 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 330 division one winning in Saturday Gold Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $456.6 million.
There are more chances to win big with tomorrow’s Oz Lotto offering $5 million, while Thursday’s Powerball has $4 million up for grabs.
