Medical centre plan for Kallangur
Published 2:00pm 23 March 2023
A new two-storey health care centre is being planned for Kallangur.
The development application, over two blocks at 107 and 109 School Rd, has been lodged with Moreton Bay Regional Council.
Under the proposal, available online, there would be a medical centre on the ground floor with space for offices or “allied health services” above.
There would be 28 parking spaces at the centre, which is in the Kallangur commercial hub, as well as a secure store for bikes and a service bay.
The application says the planned centre, on 1270sqm, is in the same block as a convenience store, service station and is close to a supermarket.
There are currently two low-set residences on the site, which is close to the intersection with Anzac Ave.
