Monster Siege a huge success

Hundreds of kids and their parents took part in the ultimate day of adventure during the recent school holidays.

Moreton Bay’s first Monster Siege, held at the South Pine Indoor Sports Complex, attracted more than 500 people across two days of fun.

Participants unleashed their inner monster in a clash of epic proportions, with kids uniting in the battle of Monster Siege against their dastardly foes – the adults – to defend magical rubber ducks.

As well as the battle, the day included face-painting and creative activities with pop-up gallery, museum and library teams from Moreton Bay City Council.

The event was supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and City of Moreton Bay to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
