As the festive season approaches, so does the festive community cheer; with Newport’s Christmas Twilight Market returning to the Redcliffe Peninsula.

The Christmas Twilight Market will be held on Saturday, November 25 at Endeavour Park.

Moreton Bay Region Events Director Eliza Burke says there will be a wide range of entertainment, activities and delicious food options.

“Locals can expect a huge range of locally sourced and made products and a mouth-watering line up of food trucks,” Eliza says.

“There will be free entertainment, including local choir group Northside Soul Sisters, an educational wildlife show by VIP Wildlife for all the reptile lovers, free face painting, roving Mystical Christmas Characters, plus a special visit from Santa himself.”

During the festive season, the community comes together to put on the best event possible.

“You can expect a beautiful range of locally owned and made health and wellness products, clothing, toys, consciously crafted artisan goods, preserves, candles, jewellery, carnival games, a jumping castle and loads more,” Eliza says.

Hosted by Moreton Bay Region Events, Eliza says her favourite part is providing the community with free festive fun.

“Our favourite part about hosting our annual Christmas Twilight Market is that we get the chance to provide the community with loads of free festive fun to celebrate the year that has just gone,” Eliza explains.

“We donate monthly to local charity Redcliffe Mums that do incredible things within our community and hosting events makes that possible.

“Moreton Bay Region Events and Newport Market has had a huge year of growth, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for us.”
