Night market returns to popular sports club
Published 6:00am 28 September 2023
North Lakes Sports Club’s fifth night market returns to celebrate the community and another local charity of choice.
The night market will be held on Friday, October 6, from 5-9pm at North Lakes Sports Club.
CSC Group Marketing Manager Veronica Vivian says the night markets are always a fun-filled evening for the whole family to enjoy.
“The markets help the community celebrate local producers and makers from throughout Moreton Bay and Brisbane. Complete with a variety of stalls, food trucks, live entertainment, face painting and even a giant roaming butterfly,” Veronica says.
North Lakes Sports Club supports a local charity each year by asking the community for a gold coin donation upon entry.
This year’s charity is the Rotary Club at Kippa-Ring, which Veronica says the club is excited to support.
“We chose the Kippa-Ring Rotary Club this year because of the incredible aid and support they provide to local community organisations and charity groups,” Veronica explains.
Veronica says the markets are always a hit, with "a really cool vibe contributed from everyone involved".
“These markets are tailored for everyone in the family, with something exciting for each member, even the fur babies. I don’t believe there is a community club offering a night-style market quite like this,” she says.
“It’s really cool to see the community come together and enjoy a great night out. We are always counting down with excitement until the next one.”
Attendees can join to become a member of the club on the night and win an instant prize and current members can register to go into a draw to win a $200 cash prize.
