The NRL has today released the 2024 NRL Telstra Premiership draw.
The Dolphins will kick off their season with a blockbuster against the Cowboys at Suncorp Stadium in round one on March 10.
It will be the first of eight home games at Suncorp, but the side will play 10 games there this season – one Broncos home game and again during Magic Round. There are three at Redcliffe’s Kayo Stadium.
The first Battle of Brisbane is in round 6 on April 12 at 8pm. The second is in round 26 on August 31 at 5.30pm.
The Dolphins have their first bye in round 3 before a long wait for another in round 14 and again in round 18.
Home games are well scattered throughout the season, with no extended periods on the road for the Dolphins.
The Dolphins will be their without stars ahead of State of Origin games on June 5, June 26 and July 17.
The NRL Telstra Premiership themed rounds include Multicultural Round (Round 3), Anzac Round (Round 8), Magic Round (Round 11), Indigenous Round (Round 12), Beanie for Brain Cancer (Round 15) and Women in League Round (Round 22).
No team will have more than three five-day turnarounds and total five-day turnarounds have been reduced from 30 in 2023 to 26 in 2024.
“We have so much to look forward to in Season 2024,” NRL CEO Andrew Abdo said.
The full 2024 NRL Telstra Premiership schedule can be found here.
In the Preseason Challenge, the Dolphins will travel to Rockhampton (V Capras, February 10), Sunshine Coast (V Titans, February 18) and Auckland (V Warriors, February 24).
