The first AgTech Demo Day, for those in farming and agri-innovation, is being held tomorrow in Wamuran.
Between 50-60 attendees are expected at Pickle Lane Farm for the event supported by AusIndustry and Moreton Bay Regional Council.
The aim is to connect local producers and the agribusiness with new or innovative solutions based on needs identified as part of the AgTech Uptake Program.
Attendees will include farmers, local residents, businesses, companies and others interested in food production, agri-innovation and the future of farming.
AgTech Demo Day will have displays and in-field demonstrations from 1-3pm by AgPick Technology, Tabby Sensors, Envirolyte, Ceres Tag and more.
A panel and Q&A session, from 3-4pm, will have speakers including Lewis Frost, secretary of AusAgriTech Association and CEO Ceres Tag; Steve Dudgeon, Managing Director Yabby Sensors and Henrietta Child, CEO of AgPick Technology
The Beers and Banter networking session is at 4pm hosted by Innovate Moreton Bay.
