Linda Butler will headline the entertainment when the Hills and Districts Chamber of Commerce Seniors Committee celebrates Christmas in July.
The committee was formed to identify unmet needs of seniors, as well as opportunities for seniors to contribute time, talents and resources to the community.
It also runs events to connect seniors in the Chamber and the broader community.
Events include senior lunch functions and convenor Judith Heindorf says other activities are in the pipeline such as an art group, coffee mornings with tech information, music and book groups and a gardening group to share tips and hints.
Fabulous feast
Christmas in July will be held from 10.30am on Tuesday, July 14 at the Arana Leagues Club, featuring a buffet roast with baked vegetables, dessert, tea and coffee.
Tickets are $25 and there will be raffles on the day.
