Tickets are now on sale for one of Moreton Bay’s major fundraisers - the Crew Legal Spring Gala Ball.
The fifth gala ball on September 11 will - like its predecessors - support the Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital campaign.
Last year it generated $52,000 for a neonatal warmer trolley which provides life-saving warmth and support for newborn babies in a critical condition.
Shane Crew, General Manager of Crew Legal, said that took the spring gala ball fundraising total, including four previous balls, to $135,000.
“First year we ran it not knowing what to expect and had a pretty successful result raising $24,000 … and it’s kicked on from there,” he said.
“This year, we’re waiting on the hospital to outline what needs it has.
“The purpose is to find a gap between what the government can provide and what best-care might allow and private fundraising.
“Life’s tough out there, especially for fundraising, but if you find the right cause you can get local businesses to band together and do something great.”
The 2026 Crew Legal Spring Gala Ball will be in the function room at Redcliffe Leagues Club on Friday September 11, 6.30pm-11.30pm.
Tickets are $195 per head or a table of 10 for $1950.
This includes a three-course meal, four-hour drink package, live music, live auctions and “a really good time”, Shane said.
