Stone Real Estate has today expanded in the Moreton Bay Region by opening a North Lakes /Kallangur office.

Located at 7/1386 Anzac Ave, it is the second Stone agency to open in this region – after Warner – and the eighth in Queensland.

There is a staff of six including principals David and Teresa Bruce, who have switched from Ray White to Stone and sales manager Lee Doyle and wife Dee, from LJ Hooker.

They will cover Murrumba Downs, Mango Hill, Petrie, North Lakes, Dakabin, Kallangur and Griffin. The median house price for that area is $615,000.

“We’re delighted to have made the switch to Stone and believe we can carve out a unique niche for vendors and buyers across the Moreton Bay growth corridor and beyond,” Mr Bruce said.

'Catalyst'

He said the market was still assessing the recent interest rate moves from the Reserve Bank of Australia.

“Generally speaking, stock has been tight,” Mr Bruce said. “That’s often the best time to sell when there is increased competition and demand.

“I think with the RBA putting rates on hold last week, it will act as a catalyst for positivity in the broader market.”

Established in 2014, Stone Real Estate started opening franchises in 2016 and now has more than 40 in NSW, ACT, Queensland and Victoria.

Stone Real estate head of franchise Luke Cameron said the team at North Lakes/Kallangur bring “ambition and experience” to a "very important market for Stone".
