Who’s Who in 22, Business: Casey Thompson

Casey Thompson has weathered the COVID-19 storm and continues to entertain people of all ages with her mobile 7D cinema business in 2022.
She is also actively playing her part to support business and tourism in the Moreton Bay Region, serving on the board of Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism since July 2018.
Casey started her business, the region’s first mobile 7D cinema in 2016.
It offers a thrilling experience made up of 3D imagery, a moving platform of chairs, and special effects to really get patrons jumping out of their seats.
The attraction has been rated No. 1 kids’ choice by multiple vacation care providers, but is also popular at private events, functions, fetes, festivals, weddings, and all-ages birthday celebrations.
Casey is the Founder and Managing Director of Mobile 7D Cinema, which is based on the Redcliffe peninsula.
She is also a freelance writer, specialising in personal resumes and cover letters. Casey also has a background in hospitality, previously managing a Hello Harry outlet and holding a venue supervisor role at Mon Komo Hotel.
About Mobile 7D Cinema
Mobile 7D Cinema is a virtual ride experience which can travel to various locations across South East Queensland. It offers guests, of all ages, the chance to enjoy different themed rides in a safe and fun-filled environment.
The 7-Dynamic Cinema experience delivers next-level entertainment that excites all of the senses using 3D imagery, a six-seat moving platform, wind, water, vibrations, snow, bubbles, and a few other surprise elements.
The 7D Cinema gives riders, aged 2-80 years, the chance to experience themed rides that last 4-8 minutes. There’s everything from rollercoaster experiences, dinosaur safari, off-road buggy racing, snow blasting flying adventures, kids horror, and many more.
The experience can be found at festivals and public events, private parties and corporate events, and at schools and vacation care services.
