A Morayfield woman said there will always be a special place in her heart for the family member who gave her an entry in Monday’s Gold Lotto draw.
That generous act gifted her a $1 million win being one of two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4266.
“This is incredible! To think it was a birthday present!” she said when an official from The Lott confirmed her windfall.
“Isn’t this just awesome? I’ll be able to help so many people with this money! “In all honestly, I’ll probably just give most of it away.
Life changing
“As a mother, all you want is for your children to have a secure and fantastic life, and this is going to make sure that happens.
“Before that though, I’ll have to search for a new car for my husband and I. That will be a great help.
“And I’ll celebrate with my family as soon as I see them. Thank you so much. This is going to change my life.”
The winning entry was sold at TSG Morayfield & Lotto on Morayfield Road.
TSG Morayfield & Lotto’s Bharti Patel said the team were so excited at selling a division one winning entry they lost all composure for a few minutes.
“This is the first time we have sold a division one winning entry since we opened our store seven years ago,” she said.
“We will celebrate by putting up some balloons and streamers to highlight this milestone.
Congratulations
“From us all at TSG Morayfield & Lotto we wish the division one winner a big hearty congratulations.
“We hope that this win changes their life positively and they can cherish and fulfil their dreams.”
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4266 on Monday 6 March 2023 were 20, 24, 9, 39, 15 and 7, while the supplementary numbers were 10 and 5.
