Paralympic swimmer Brenden Hall and his wife Brittany are back at their Mango Hill home after welcoming their first child at Brisbane’s Mater Mother’s Hospital.
Bodhi Jude Hall was born at Brisbane’s Mater Mother’s Hospital on Friday December 10 at 9.33pm, weighing 3.41kgs.
“I am hoping I can teach him everything I can and find different ways to teach him particular things,” Mr Hall, 28, said.
“It’s really hard to put into words how I am feeling right now.
“It’s wonder and excitement all in one.
'Super proud'
“Bodhi will be getting used to his new surroundings and we won’t be getting much sleep.”
The former Pine Rivers State High School student said he was “super proud” of his wife and her recovery since giving birth.
Mr Hall is a four-time Paralympian representing Australia at the 2008 (Beijing), 2012 (London), 2016 (Rio) and 2020 (Tokyo) Games.
He has 12 gold medals from the Paralympics, World Championships and Commonwealth Games gold medals and is currently with Harley Connolly’s swim squad at Burpengary.
Mr Hall lost a leg to chicken pox when he was a child and 70 per cent of his hearing.
