Who’s Who in 2022, Business: Rory Crundall, Moreton Bay Recycling
Moreton Bay Recycling reuses or recycles more than 99.9 percent of the clean concrete waste delivered to its Narangba facility, processing more than 72,000 tonnes each year. It’s a strategy that won managing director Rory Crundall and his team the Environment & Sustainability Excellence Award at the 2022 Moreton Bay Business and Innovation Awards.

For developer Ausbuild, 2022 has been about building communities with much more than bricks and mortar. The company’s efforts won it the Moreton Bay Business and Innovation Award for Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence and helped sporting clubs, community groups and schools along the way

Founder Alisa Starkey launched the company at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Summit Canberra, which showcases how governments and public sector organisations across Australia and New Zealand are using technology and digital innovation to help solve pressing issues and drive economic growth.

Michael and Fiona and their team have won a slew of awards – and set a Guinness World Record – as well as taking Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to thousands of people around the globe.

Who’s Who in 2022, Business: Natassia Wheeler
Margate’s Natassia Wheeler joined the committee of Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay in August, drawn back to the area from the Whitsundays by its burgeoning business and lifestyle opportunities. She was recently voted on to the Queensland Tourism Industry Council board and is looking forward to representing the state’s tourism industry and advocating for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
