The Pumicestone Small Businesses of the Year have been revealed in a gala ceremony at Bribie Island RSL.
Ali King, the State Member for Pumicestone, hosted the 2024 awards, attended by 200 small business owners and employees on Friday.
Queensland Small Business Commissioner Dominique Lamb joined the celebrations to announce this year’s winners.
“As a former small business owner myself, I know running a small business can be a tough gig,” Ali King said.
“I set up the Pumicestone Small Business Awards to spotlight the talent of our local small businesses in all industries from hospitality and retail to childcare and pet businesses.
“In just its second year, our small business awards have gone from strength to strength with over 8400 community members voting for their favourite local small businesses.
“This year I was proud to host the Small Business Awards Gala Night which brought businesses together from Bribie, Sandstone Point and Ningi, Beachmere, Caboolture and surrounds.
“It was heartwarming to see our small businesses cheering each other on, which just goes to show how supportive our business community is here in Pumicestone.”
