North Lakes Hotel is relaunching its dining offering with the Boardwalk Café opening on October 30.
The café will offer locals and visitors a casual dining option, with an unrivalled view.
The new menu has a focus on fresh, well-priced meals with a little of everything including fresh salads, Buddha bowls and a special seniors’ menu.
General Manager Jeremy Kreft says diners can sit inside or outside on the deck and enjoy homemade, freshly-baked goods, plus some old favourites from previous menus.
There’s steaks from the grill, burgers, pasta, seafood, pizzas, salads and more.
“Give us a try on opening weekend and enjoy a special 10% discount on the whole food menu,” Jeremy says.
The Boardwalk Café will have counter service, two bars (on weekends) and a takeaway option, all overlooking beautiful Lake Eden.

Why the change?
Operating since April 2018, the Boardwalk Restaurant has hosted a number of local events, while offering an all-day, full-service restaurant. Earlier this year, North Lakes Hotel created On The Deck, a casual and largely takeaway option for diners in response to COVID-19 restrictions.
General Manager Jeremy Kreft says staff have been discussing options for a while and after consulting a number of stakeholders and conducting surveys with existing patrons, they have settled on an approach that provides fresh, healthy options not previously available combined with many of the favourites from days gone by.
“Another newcomer is the special seniors’ menu which has been requested by our regulars – we are very excited, this is a game changer menu at very reasonable prices,” he says.
