Visitors wowed at UniSC Open Day
Words by Jodie Powell

Crowds flocked to UniSC’s Open Day at Petrie last weekend to explore the facilities and learn about courses on offer.

More than 4000 people visited the Petrie campus to learn about degrees they could study, chat to academic staff and current students about uni life and experience interactive activities guided by experts.

Visitors were able to discover what a diverse career in dietetics looks like with Zara Nance, who’s a sports dietician for the Dolphins and as a lecturer at UniSC.

They also had the chance to test their carotenoid levels to see if they’re eating enough fruits and vegetables in the new Sports Nutrition Clinic, and meet the Robodogs who were greeting visitors at the campus entry.
