Brisbane Roar will, as last year, kick-off their men’s pre-season campaign at Caboolture Sports next week.
Moreton Bay Central Sporting Complex in Burpengary, will host the opening match of Roar’s 2026-27 season on Wednesday July 15.
There will be pre-game coaching sessions with the Roar playing squad, a signing session and merchandise tent. The match will start at 7.30pm.
Roar’s trips to Caboolture and then Ipswich (July 22) - fifth and fourth respectively in the state’s FQPL1 competition - have both been moved back one day.
This is to avoid clashing with Hahn Australia Cup Round of 32 matches for NPL Qld sides Rochedale Rovers, against SD Raiders and Queensland Lions, against Perth.
Roar has thanked Caboolture Sports and Ipswich for their “support and understanding in accommodating the changes”.
“Their flexibility reflects the strength of the football community in South East Queensland, and both nights promise to be great occasions for local fans.”
Roar’s preparations for the next A-League season include a trip to Peninsula Power’s home, AJ Kelly Park in Kippa-Ring, on September 26.
It will be the second of two matches against Queensland Men. The first is at Spencer Park, Newmarket on September 19.
Before both games, Roar has a trip to Sydney Olympic in the national Australia Cup Round of 32 on July 30.
