Celebrating educators on Early Childhood Educators’ Day

ADVERTORIAL
Sesame Lane is today proudly joining communities across Australia in celebrating Early Childhood Educators’ Day, which recognises the extraordinary contribution educators make in the lives of children and families.
At Sesame Lane, we know that the true strength of our service lies in our people. Our educators are the heart of our organisation, and every day they give so much of themselves to create safe, nurturing and inspiring environments for children across the City of Moreton Bay.
What makes this profession so special is often found in the smallest of moments. In the early learning sector, they’re called glimmers. A glimmer is a small moment of joy, safety, or connection that sparks positive feelings and helps the body feel calm and at ease. The warm smile that reassures a child at morning drop-off, the gentle encouragement to try something new, the patience shown as little hands master a new skill, and the joy shared in every milestone, big or small.
But alongside these quiet, everyday acts of care, there are also the big things. Our educators invest countless hours in planning thoughtful learning experiences, supporting each child’s development, and fostering strong partnerships with families. They create spaces where children feel safe, valued, and respected, and where families feel confident that their children are receiving the very best start in life.
This work is not always easy and it requires dedication, creativity, professionalism and a huge amount of heart. Yet, day after day, our educators show up with energy, commitment and love for the children in their care. In doing so, they are shaping the future of our community, one child at a time.
On Early Childhood Educators’ Day, we want to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you to each and every Sesame Lane educator for the passion you bring to your work, the kindness you show our families, and the difference you make in the lives of children across the City of Moreton Bay.
From the small things to the big things; every action matters, every effort is noticed and every child is better off because of you.
Sesame Lane is proud to stand behind our educators on Early Childhood Educators’ Day, September 3, and celebrate everything you do. We are so grateful, and today we say it loudly: thank you for being amazing.
