Check your Keno tickets, Bongaree! A resident or visitor to the region has won a 9 Spot prize worth more than $180,000!

The mysterious Bribie Island player scored the Keno classic 9 Spot winning entry in draw 71, on Sunday, leaving them with a $188,787.30 prize.

Officials from Keno have no way of contacting the winner to break the news and must wait for the ticketholder to come forward.

The winning Keno Classic 9 Spot entry was bought at Bribie Island RSL in Toorbul St, Bongaree.

Keno spokesperson Anna Hobdell has urged everyone who bought a Keno entry at Bribie Island RSL to check their tickets as soon as possible.

“Someone out there could be holding a winning ticket worth more than $180,000 and not even realise it!” she said.

“We’re urging all Keno players from the region to check their tickets today – you could be holding the winning entry!

“Imagine discovering you’re the winner we’re searching for. What would you do with this major prize?

“Past winners have used their wins to purchase cars, put a house deposit down, or go on a much-needed holiday.

“If you discover you’re holding the winning Keno Classic 9 Spot ticket, hold on to it and head into your closest venue as soon as possible so we can start the prize claim process!”

In FY23, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 95.42 million wins collectively worth more than $1.34 billion.

During this time, Keno crowned 20 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $46 million.

Eight of these major winners were Queenslanders, including a Rockhampton man who walked away with a $6.1 million prize.

Keno players can also enter into the monthly second chance draw for the chance to win one of five $1,000 prizes by scanning their ticket at win.secondchance.keno.com.au.
