The countdown is on to Christmas, with shopping days limited now!
If you're still searching for the perfect gift your friends and family, why not support local a business and get your shopping done at Christmas markets this year. There are a number of markets on between now and Christmas around the region giving you plenty of chances to hunt down the perfect gifts for your loved ones!
Margate Reimagined Christmas Markets
On December 5, between Baynes St and Beaconsfield Ave across Oxley Ave you'll find a whole bunch of fun, beautiful, creative, amazing stuff from local groups and businesses.
Between 8am - 2pm Baynes Street will be buzzing with laneway markets full of Christmas gift ideas, live music and pop-up vegan bakery. Then between noon - 4pm, 295 Oxley Ave will be humming with live music, market stalls full of great Christmas gifts, and motorbikes with the Ulysses Motorcycle Club. Grab lunch like a quiche that’s almost more bacon than egg at Industry and Co, delicious pizza from Bella Sicilia, fresh Thai from Kob’s Thai, and wash it all down with a cold craft beer, a chilled wine, or the #2 Espresso Martini in Brisbane at Jumping Goats Bar. There will also be gifts and furniture for sale by Timber Dimensions, succulents, and Christmas wreaths from Floral Art Floristry.

Caboolture Country Markets Christmas Twilight
The Caboolture Country Christmas Twilight Markets are back on 12th December. Starting at 4pm you can browse the markets stalls for Christmas gifts, grab a bite to eat, and relax in the cool evening air. Santa Claus may even drop by for a little visit. There will be some fantabulous Christmas singing and some awesome fireworks to finish the night.

Christmas Twilight Markets
Encircle Redcliffe Neighbourhood Centre will be hosting a Christmas Twilight Market on Friday December 18th from 3pm. There will be lots of fun activities for the whole family, including free fairy floss (of course!), a sausage sizzle, popcorn, face painting, a jumping castle and more. Plus there will be a variety of market stalls to pick up those last minute pressies. There will even have a special visit from the Clauses who are coming all the way from the North Pole!

Location: Encircle Redcliffe Neighbourhood Centre, Lamington Drive, Redcliffe
Cost: $5 per family or groups of up to 6 people
Sandstone Point Christmas Carnival
Tis’ the season to be jolly, celebrate with a day full of festivities at the Sandstone Point Christmas Carnival! From 12 noon enjoy markets, food stalls, kids rides, entertainment, Christmas carols, fireworks and of course a visit from Santa!

Pine Rivers Park Christmas Carols
Pine Rivers Park Christmas Carols brings families all the joyful entertainment with an extra sprinkling of Christmas magic on Sunday, 20th December. Pack the picnic, rug and chairs, sit back, relax, and join in the carolling fun while enjoying a magical evening.
If you haven't finished your Christmas shopping there will be plenty of market stalls for you to browse and find the perfect gifts for your family and friends.
