In the closest category at a gala night, EJ shared the Solar Bollard Lighting Award for Exporting Excellence with ONETIME.
The trophy sits alongside the Advanced Manufacturing Excellence award which EJ collected last year.
With a staff of 45, EJ is the global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of access solutions for the world’s growing infrastructure.
“It was very exciting and close,” EJ Sales Co-ordinator Michael Bowkett said, “to be honest there could be no better result than a tie between the two of us.
And the Exporting Excellence Award goes to - EJ Australia
“We’ve had a very long relationship with overseas exporting and with our major distributor.
“I think it just goes to show with the type of relationship and bond we have had over the years, we’ve managed to pull off this award. It couldn’t feel any better.
“There’s nothing more special than #teammoretonbay. It’s a great place to be.
“We’ve had all the support in the world ever since joining the team. It has been really rewarding and really appreciated.”
EJ access covers provide safe and secure access to the world’s underground networks for sewer, water, stormwater, lighting, electricity, gas, telecommunications and fibre optics for data.
In the Asia Pacific region, EJ sells its products to councils, government authorities, road building contractors, commercial plumbers, electrical and telecommunications contractors.
For the past five years EJ has called Brendale home. It is the headquarters and main assembly works for the company in the Asia Pacific region.
EJ dates back to 1883 when its first manufacturing facility was built in the US and is now a global enterprise spanning six continents – promoting innovation, quality, and a commitment to customer service.
Still a family business, the fourth and fifth generations are now at the helm.
