A $20 million renovation of Caboolture Sports Club (CSC) will start early next month with many popular areas to be expanded, overhauled and redesigned.
The project, which is expected to take around 15 months, will see changes to almost every part of the club’s 3400sqm footprint at Station Rd, Morayfield.
Jobs will be created during and after construction with an estimated 50 new positions opening to support the expanded CSC facilities.
“As the region continues to rapidly grow, we are excited to introduce new facilities and services to support the evolving needs of our local community," Craig Thomas, Chief Executive Officer at CSC Group.
Café - The renovation will include expanding the cafe with seating increasing from 60 to 140, an enhanced menu, main meals delivered directly to tables and an in-house pastry chef.
Restaurant - seating will increase from 165 to 340 with options including booths and areas for group dining. There will be an expanded steak and smoked meat offering and full table service.
Sports Bar - will feature a huge 10m x 5m LED sports TV wall, capacity for 120 guests with premium spirits and craft beers, Keno terminals and SST.
Cocktail Bar - a selection of specialty cocktails, wines and spirits. This space will host live entertainment, specialty tastings and boutique events.
Kids Club – will be expanded with an interactive playground, climbing jungle, arts and crafts space, movie theatre and supervised services for children aged three years and over.
Additional upgrades include a new, fully-equipped parents' room, full makeover of restrooms, a purpose-built staff room and fully equipped kitchens.
Features include soft tones, elegant arches, brass trimmings, greenery, sophisticated lighting, textured wall finishes and a range of new furnishings and equipment.
Stage 1 - will include the new cafe, cafe kitchen, lounge, cocktail bar and ladies amenities. Estimated completion August 2025. The Sports Bar will temporarily move to the old Grevillea Room until stage 3 starts.
Stage 2 - sees the new restaurant, restaurant kitchen, restaurant bar, ladies amenities, kids club and movie theatre. Estimated completion date to be confirmed. The Laneway Cafe, Mill Restaurant and kids’ room will close indefinitely during this period.
Stage 3 – will see a new foyer entrance, gaming bar, sports bar, parents room and staff amenities. Estimated completion mid-2026. In this phase, the main entrance will close and a temporary entrance open on the right side of the building. The Sports Bar’s betting facilities and sports viewing will temporarily move to the new cocktail bar.

CSC is aiming to "minimise disruptions" during "temporary relocations".
“The $20 million renovation by Focus Construct at Caboolture Sports Club is more than a facelift,” Todd Dunlop, Managing Director at Brisbane-based builder Focus Construct, said.
“It’s a commitment to enhancing the community experience, supporting local businesses, and shaping the future of leisure in Queensland."
Caboolture Sports Club has contributed more than $12 million to local initiatives in the past five years.
