If you’re looking for an inexpensive alternative to a day at the EKKA, Caboolture Family Fun Day is just the event for you.
Head to Centenary Lakes Park on Monday, August 14, from 10am-4pm to enjoy free rides, stage shows, activities, showbags, markets, food stalls and more.
Moreton Bay City Council Mayor Peter Flannery says Caboolture Family Fun Day is a highlight on Council’s vibrant events calendar.
“This family-friendly program will bring a range of acts, from around Moreton Bay and wider, together to create an unforgettable experience for visitors and residents alike,” he says.
“We’re giving local talent the airtime they deserve and activating the already great outdoor space at Centenary Lakes to bring a day of affordable fun to our community.”
Councillor Adam Hain (Div 3) says forget spending hundreds at the Ekka, the Caboolture Family Fun Day doesn’t have to cost you a cent.
“Caboolture Family Fun Day is one of the region’s most loved, low-cost family events,” he says.
“It’s part of Council’s plan to bring vibrant events and better community connection to the people of Moreton Bay and, in turn, that’s helping boost our local economy.
“We’ll have lots of local talent on show, with everything from cheerleading to ice-cream eating competitions, and we welcome people from far and wide to visit the city and join in the fun.
“Bring your family and friends, embrace the festivities and help support local businesses and our vibrant city.”
