A moving ceremony was held at the Redcliffe Cemetery on Sunday as the community came together to honour the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Each year the Redcliffe RSL host the service at the cemetery ahead of Anzac Day, where poppies are placed on the graves of the veterans who have gone before us.
The service features prayers, music and the presentation of the Service Cadet of the Year Awards.
Cadets who were honoured this year were Heisha Chocu, Angus Irvin, Brook Wilson, Callum Brent and Everylyn Robinson (who had someone receive the award on her behalf).
