Get ready to vote

While many Moreton Bay residents have cast their vote already, community groups and schools are still preparing for election day this Saturday.

Almost 30 percent of people across the region registered for a postal vote, while 20.6 percent voted in person in the first week of pre-polling, which ended on October 24.

The figures are in line with predictions from Griffith University Senior Lecturer School of Humanities, Languages and Social Science Dr Paul Williams, who says more than 50 percent of people are expected to have voted before election day.

If you’re yet to vote, we’ve compiled a list of the October 31 polling booths across the region’s 10 electorates.

On the big day, booths will be open 8am-6pm.
