More than $200,000 has already been raised by hundreds of trucks which made their way to Redcliffe in the 2025 Convoy for Kids.
However, more fundraisers are planned after Saturday’s rain forced organisers to postpone parts of the program.
In total 778 trucks – some from as far as West Australia - joined the convoy travelling 62kms from Larapinta to Redcliffe Showgrounds.
“Unfortunately, our Truck Show presentation had to be postponed, as well as approximately 50 per cent of our auction,” spokesperson Dana Browne said.
“We are in the works of planning an online/in-person event to have the auction and Truck Show presentation. A date is yet to be determined, as we work with our Executive Committee and venue.

“Our Lead Truck for 2025 was Jim Bellingham from Polytec - and that truck alone, raised $100,025!
“Our total lead truck auction raised over $208,000 with 30 trucks vying for the lead truck position.”
The event, in its 16th year, raises money for Queensland’s only children’s hospice Hummingbird House, which provides essential care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
